Pennies for Haiti is a faith-rooted nonprofit organization founded in 2010 to uplift the lives of Haiti’s children through education, nourishment, and love. Born from a mission trip in 2009, our work began with small acts of compassion and has since grown into a national movement impacting thousands of lives through access to learning, dignity, and opportunity.

Guided by Christian values, our mission is clear: to transform education in Haiti by equipping underserved youth—especially girls—with the tools, training, and support they need to thrive in a tech-driven, ever-changing world. Through culturally relevant, hands-on programs, we build inclusive, sustainable learning environments that spark innovation, foster growth, and expand opportunity for future leaders.

Over the years, we’ve developed and sustained a powerful network of community-based initiatives, including: SOS Belle Fontaine, Haiti STEM Alliance, Éco-Collège Immaculée des Coteaux (ECIC), Haiti Dreamers — Empowering Tomorrow’s Achievers and Nwèl Pou Timoun.

From the mountain paths of Belle Fontaine to national classrooms, from robotics clubs to holiday celebrations, Pennies for Haiti is building a better Haiti—one child, one school, and one miracle at a time. We have walked through storms, buried children, lost funding, and found grace. Through it all, our faith has been our compass, and the children, our why.
