Nwèl Pou Timoun is a beloved annual initiative by Pennies for Haiti that brings joy, dignity, and essential support to children across Haiti during the Christmas season. What began as a small gesture of generosity has grown into a powerful and deeply anticipated event that reaches hundreds of children every year—many of whom face poverty, displacement, or disaster-related hardship.

Held each December, Nwèl Pou Timoun creates a joyful and meaningful celebration for children who often go without during the holidays. The initiative provides nutritious meals, personalized gifts, clothing, hygiene kits, school supplies, and toys, ensuring that every child feels seen, celebrated, and loved. In communities where even basic necessities are often out of reach, these moments of joy and generosity offer not just relief, but hope.

The program prioritizes children living in crisis-affected zones, remote rural areas, orphanages, and under-resourced neighborhoods, with a strong emphasis on ensuring that girls, children with disabilities, and those who have recently endured trauma are not left behind. Every event is organized in partnership with local schools, churches, volunteers, and community leaders to ensure cultural relevance and dignity.
